Our Mission
Forging Successful Individuals, Professionals & Communities!
Freedom Forge is a working, physical forge that offers everyone an opportunity to take part in an age-old profession, while serving as a metaphor for our mission: Forging Successful Careers, Relationships and Communities.
Freedom Forge is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that uses the art of blacksmithing to teach, train, and inspire people to forge a better life.
Why Blacksmithing?
Take a piece of metal and try to bend it cold.
Take a piece of metal, heat it and start to reshape it.
Often people can be similar to cold steel, in the since that we are hard to bend or be refined.
Through our life experiences (The Heating Process) and with guidance we become more refined.
When individuals are given proper tools, guidance and are willing to learn.
They are given what they need to succeed in their lives and faith.
Faith without works is dead.
Biblical principles are gifts from a loving father who wants to equip individuals with essential life tools.
Tools that help minimize the risk of making choices that will likely have negative consequences.
If you know how to navigate life using these principles, you will be able to navigate your career using the same principles.
It’s easy tell someone the best way to walk, real change happens when we simply say,
“let’s walk together”!
We learn best by doing, we teach best by showing!
In this way, we use tools, materials, processes of blacksmithing and practicing the art, to improving with every session.
We hope in time this inspires, builds character, and refines all of those we work with.
Partnering with our contributors to give individuals the tools they need to succeed in their lives and faith.
In the past who did the community turn to for the tools they needed to complete their work?
You got it, “The Blacksmith”
